Kafka "The Trial"

Book cover 2019

A project was done during an art direction course on the subject of one of the most famous authors -
Franz Kafka.

The family name "Kafka" is of Czech origin (kavka means kak). The envelopes of Herman Kafka (his father), which Franz used for letters, were with the symbol of this bird.

In a logo I'm using a bird sitting in a cage, and so I will convey a sense of loneliness and alienation of the character.
